Recently, we’ve been recalling our childhoods. Maybe its the holidays that bring it out of us. We remember playing with toy trains, lincoln logs, legos, dollhouses, miniature aquariums, race-car tracks, kynex, etc. Something in the air this holiday season has made us want to play with modeling kits to pass the time.
If there’s one thing we love most in this world, it’s Brownstone Brooklyn. Until we can own a real one, I came up with the idea to get Elizabeth a model brownstone. But after researching this for a bit, I found out that not many people make Brownstone models (besides kynex and legos).
I did find a few companies that have model townhouses, brick row houses, and other Brooklyn-style miniature homes.
Tiny Doll House NYC
Tammy’s Heirlooms
I have yet to decide whether or not to purchase one of these $300 dollar dollhouses, but a man can dream can’t he? In the meantime, we can all enjoy this vision of ShellyS‘ Miniature Brownstone Brooklyn.
The front of the miniature brownstone.
This looks like the foyer of the building.
Nice little living room, but could use something on that back wall.
Looking out the bay window might be nice if you aren’t blinded by the carpet.
Looks like the upstairs is under some construction.
The bathroom is overall a great setup. But that pinkish-purple toilet has to go!
Nice wall paper, I am not a purple kinda guy though.
The living room undergoing a paint job.
Downstairs bathroom.
The best room of all. Look at those leather chairs and fireplace!
A full floor plan view.
The best part of this gathering is there is a menorah on the bookshelf.
The master bedroom, nice fireplace!
The laundry and playroom.

That would be amazing! I will look out for one, or make some plans to make one!
I have a friend whose trying to sell a “NYC Brownstone” style house. Her father built the dollhouse for her and it does need a little work but she is looking to sell it.
