Joey Gallo: Redhook Mobster
Here is Tom Folsom talking about Mad Ones on Jon Stewart’s Comedy Central program.
Back before The Mad Ones in 1969 Jimmy Breslin got the idea to write about Gallo’s and the gang wars in a book. This book then became a movie that Jerry Orbach played in called The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight. Robert De Niro also stars in this movie as a member of a cycling team who gets lost in New York. Watch the trailer for The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight at Amazon video.
